American Kahani is an independent media organization,
not beholden to any political, ideological, or business
interests. Our success has been largely due to the
contributions of hundreds of Indian and South Asian
Americans expressing their perspectives on their American
life, not to mention the dedicated work of journalists who
contributed to the news sections of the portal. This makes
American Kahani a vibrant all-voluntary enterprise. Financial freedom is the key to sustain and grow independent,
unbiased and nonpartisan journalism. We need community
