Oregon Student is Part of 1st Graduating Class of Mountainside High School

Aarushi Dhamdere graduated from the Mountainside High School in Beaverton, Ore., June 10. She was part of the first graduating class of the high school. She will be attending University of Oregon, Eugene this fall. Aarushi received the senior award for Advanced Career Pathways. In a blog in American Kahani, Aarushi wrote about missing the last few months of her senior year. “As the first graduating class, we did not have seniors to look up to, traditions to follow, traditional homecomings to attend,” she wrote. “So yes, we deserved this last year to be something of our own.”
