X Rated: Vivek Ramaswamy Heard Peeing on Hot Mic During ‘Live Stream’ With Thousands Tuned In

  • A day after the embarrassing moment, federal prosecutors charged 30-year-old Tyler Anderson of New Hampshire for threatening Ramaswamy to “blow” his “brains out.”

A weekend livestream conversation on X, with Vivek Ramaswamy, Elon Musk, and far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, among others, was truly a “live stream,” thanks to a faux pas by the GOP hopeful. Ramaswamy participated in a discussion on X yesterday (Dec. 10), hosted by the entrepreneur Mario Nawfal and was attended by Elon Musk, far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, right-wing political activist Jack Posobiec, and the commentators Jackson Hinkle and CJ Pearson. About 2.3 million people tuned in, news reports said.

Sometime during the discussion, took a bathroom break, but forgot to mute his phone. A trickle of water heard in the background interrupted Jones.  “Someone’s got their thing open peeing! Someone’s got their phone open in the bathroom,” Jones yelled to an audience of tens of thousands of listeners, according to post on X.

The livestream’s host, social media influencer Mario Nawfal, tried to alert Ramaswamy to what was happening. “That’s your phone, Vivek. I’m not able to mute you. Vivek?” The former entrepreneur then turned off his mic and reappeared a second later to apologize. When a giggling Musk asked him if he was “feeling better now,” Ramaswamy replied that he feels “great,’ and apologized for the goof up. Later, in an email sent to Business Insider, he summed it up better, “We are all human!” As of Dec. 11, “the X Spaces event had drawn more than 9.1 million listeners, according to the site’s data,” The New York Post reported.

As expected, the moment spurred hundreds of comments and memes. “Vivek is literally draining the swamp,” one listener wrote. “Is he the first candidate we’ve heard pee?” asked another. Musk chief in as well. Commenting on one of the clips that was shared on X after the livestream, he wrote: “I’m literally rofl rn.”

Meanwhile, a day after the embarrassing moment, federal prosecutors charged 30-year-old Tyler Anderson of New Hampshire for threatening Ramaswamy. According to CNN, Anderson is accused of threatening to “blow” a presidential candidate’s “brains out” during a campaign stop in the state.

Alhough the presidential candidate is not named in charging documents, a spokesperson for Ramaswamy confirmed to CNN that his campaign was the target of the threats.

According to court documents, Anderson received a text message from a presidential campaign about an event in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He allegedly responded to the message, saying: “Great, another opportunity for me to blow his brains out!” and “I’m going to kill everyone who attends and then f**k their corpses.

Tricia McLaughlin, a spokesperson for Ramaswamy’s campaign, told CNN in a statement that “we are grateful to law enforcement for their swiftness and professionalism in handling this matter and pray for the safety of all Americans.”
