Indian actor Harish Patel is making his Hollywood debut with Marvel’s “Eternals.” Directed by Chloé Zhao, who recently won an Oscar for “Nomadland,” “Eternals” is the 25th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It marks the Marvel debut of several Hollywood actors including Kumail Nanjiani, Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh and Don Lee.
Patel confirmed his role in “Eternals,” after a few social media users spotted him in the recently released first look of the film. The video titled “Marvel Studios Celebrates The Movies,” looks back at the Marvel movies that have been released to date and revealed their plans for MCU phase 4. Patel will play the role of Kingo Sunen’s assistant. Nanjiani stars as Kingo, a role for which he underwent a total body transformation.
The film’s official twitter page also shared the news. “Harish Patel has confirmed his role in ETERNALS as Kingo’s assistant & camera man who joins the global adventure with the Eternals, documenting everything.”“Yes, the man you saw in the teaser is me! I can confirm that I am doing Eternals but cannot speak about it right now!”

Patel made his acting debut with Shyam Benegal’s “Mandi” and has starred in numerous films, including “Mr. India,” “Mohra,” “Gupt: The Hidden Truth,” and “Gunda,” among others.
