A Very Special 21st Birthday

Rithika Arramreddy of Monroe, New Jersey, wanted to celebrate her 21st birthday on April 8 with some of her close friends, along with good food, cool props and decorations and some champagne. The pre-med senior at University of Pittsburgh, got all that. But the number of party attendees were reduced significantly. This party was for the most special guests: Rithika’s parents and her younger brother Aarav. She connected with friends and family on Zoom as well. “It was a bitter-sweet birthday,” Rithika says. “I’m always in school for my birthday, so it was great to have a chilled celebration with my family.”
