Detectives are Seeking the Public’s Help to Identify Burglars Targeting Indian Americans in Seattle Suburb

Over the past two weeks, there has been an increase in burglaries targeting Indian Americans in Bothell, Washington, which is part of the Seattle metropolitan area.
According to an announcement by the Snohomish County Robbery and Burglary Unit, the burglaries occurred ‘during daytime hours along 35th Ave SE between 180th St SE and 228th St SE.” Detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify the suspects.
The suspects are believed to be part of a larger organized group that operates throughout the region and associated with a black early-2000s Mercedes sedan and a newer silver Mercedes SUV with unknown plates. Detectives are encouraging residents to secure valuables and ensure all windows, sliding doors and access points are properly locked.
Bothell has a large concentration of Asian Americans, of which 33 percent identify as Indian and 29 percent identify as Chinese, and Hispanic/Latino American.
