Indian American Celebrities Attend Pre-Show Reception, Performance of ‘Life of Pi’ on Broadway

The production is currently in previews on Broadway with its official opening night scheduled for March 30.

Celebrities and prominent members of the Indian American community gathered on March 14 to celebrate “Life of Pi,” which just began live performances in New York City. Padma Lakshmi, Nik Dodani, Danny Pudi, Payal Kadakia, Bing Chen and many others came together for the pre-show reception at the Hard Rock Hotel and the evening performance of the play and were joined by playwright Lolita Chakrabarti plus the cast including Olivier Award winner Hiran Abeysekera. The production is currently in previews on Broadway with its official opening night scheduled for March 30.
