Currying Clintons: Bill and Hillary Clinton Spotted at Priyanka Chopra’s NYC Indian Restaurant Sona

  • Also seen at the hotspot were Joe Jonas and his wife Sophie Turner as well as famed boxer Mike Tyson.

Former President Bill Clinton and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton were spotted enjoying a romantic dinner at Sona, actress Priyanka Chopra’s New York City restaurant earlier this week. The power couple dined together on Sept. 26 at the trendy Indian dining spot in the Flatiron district. They were seen enjoying “some quality time with their friends during their weeknight dinner,” other diners at the restaurant told Page Six.

Sona head chef Hair Nayak and co-owner Maneesh Goyal shared photos with the Clintons on their social media handles.

However, they weren’t the only celebrities to hit the trendy restaurant that evening. Joe Jonas and his wife Sophie Turner were at the hot spot for a date night, as was famed boxer Mike Tyson, who was celebrating a friend’s birthday with a group of friends.

“People watching [on Monday] was on 100! They were dining there separately. It was bizarre,” a d diner told Page Six. “Throughout the evening, fans reportedly popped by their table asking for photos, requests the Clintons allegedly agreed to,” the source added.

Since it opened during the pandemic in 202, Sona has been a go-to for celebs and politicians since Chopra opened it with longtime friends Maneesh Goyal and David Rabin. Earlier this month, “she hosted husband Nick Jonas, Huma Abedin, Laura Brown, Prabal Gurung, and Vanity Fair editor Radhika Jones for a dinner to celebrate fall and the launch of her SONA home collection inspired by decor and pieces from the restaurant,” per Page Six.
