Global Chief Information Officer of Coca-Cola Company Neeraj Tolmare Appointed to Crocs Board of Directors
- The Indian American has held several executive roles at Fortune 100 and iconic companies like HP Inc., Cisco Systems, and Palm Inc.
Neerja Tolmare, Global Chief Information Officer for The Coca‑Cola Company, has been appointed to the board of directors of Crocs, Inc., effective Jan. 1. According to a company press release, “the new appointees will bring new skill sets and extensive brand building experience in consumer-facing businesses to the Crocs board.” Tolmare will initially join the board’s Audit Committee.
In his current role at The Coca-Cola Company, he has built and led teams to modernize a legacy network and infrastructure footprint and to improve the organization’s global technology maturity. He also serves on the board of Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta as well as the Georgia Tech Research Institute, Center for Development and Application of Internet of Things.
In a statement, Tolmare said, “The opportunity to join the board at Crocs, Inc. is a perfect fit with my principles and values, and my passion to work for brands that are deeply entrenched in the society we live in and connect on a personal level, with a global audience.”
Before Coca‑Cola, he held several executive roles at Fortune 100 and iconic companies like HP Inc., Cisco Systems, and Palm Inc. He led the global technology and e-commerce function at HP Inc., which led to significant worldwide growth in their online business. He also led the technology team through the separation of HP into two public companies as well as the acquisition of Samsung’s printer division.
Earlier in his career, he led the online marketing and e-commerce unit at Cisco Systems, which managed and grew global brands such as Linksys and Flip Video. He also helped with the global re-launch of the Palm brand with the WebOS operating system.
He holds degrees from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology, and the College of Engineering in Pune, India. He started his career by working for iconic brands such as Palm, Flip Video and Linksys where he led the online marketing and e-commerce units.
